Rosini Solutions
Terms of service
The rules for using SO Beauty as a client or as a beauty professional.
Last updated: October 23, 2026
What SO Beauty is
SO Beauty is an online platform where beauty professionals present their work and services and where clients discover them, book appointments and, when the professional offers it, pay online. Professionals are independent: they provide the services, set their own prices, availability and policies, and are responsible for their work. SO Beauty provides the platform and is not a party to the service agreed between a client and a professional. By creating an account or using SO Beauty you accept these terms and our privacy policy.
SO Beauty is an intermediary
SO Beauty is a showcase and booking tool. It does not provide, supervise, inspect or guarantee beauty services. Professionals are not employees, agents or partners of SO Beauty, and the contract for a service is concluded directly between the client and the professional. Profiles, prices, photos, qualifications and descriptions come from the professionals; SO Beauty does not check them unless it says so explicitly. You choose a professional at your own discretion. SO Beauty is not responsible for the quality, results or safety of a service, for damage, injuries or reactions caused by it, or for a professional who cancels, changes or does not provide a service, without prejudice to the liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Who operates SO Beauty
SO Beauty is operated by Rosini Solutions, the trade name of Rosini transports et locations Sàrl (UID CHE-264.039.709), Chemin des Bulesses 16, 1814 La Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland. In these terms, “SO Beauty”, “we” and “us” mean this company.
Your account
You sign in with email, Apple or Google through our identity provider. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else used your account. An account is personal and may not be sold or transferred. You must be old enough under the law of your country to accept these terms yourself; otherwise a parent or guardian must accept them for you. Professionals must be adults able to enter into contracts.
Clients and professionals
As a client you can follow professionals, save looks, send messages, book and pay. As a professional you publish a profile, services, prices, availability and a portfolio, and you can invite team members to a business. Professionals must hold the licences, insurance and registrations their work requires, follow hygiene and safety rules, describe their services and prices honestly, and handle their own taxes and invoices.
Obligations of professionals
Professionals confirm that they are entitled to offer their services, hold the licences, qualifications, registrations and insurance their work requires, and comply with the laws that apply to them, including consumer, health and hygiene, tax and data protection laws. For the personal data of clients they keep or use outside SO Beauty, they are responsible themselves. Professionals indemnify SO Beauty against claims from clients or third parties arising from their services, their content or their breach of these terms or of the law, as far as the law allows.
Bookings and cancellations
A booking is an agreement between the client and the professional. Each professional sets the cancellation window, the late-cancellation and no-show fees and any deposit for their services. These rules are shown before you confirm and are saved with the booking, so later changes do not affect it. When a request needs approval, the professional may accept it, decline it or propose another time. Please arrive on time and tell the professional about allergies or health conditions that matter for the treatment.
Payments, deposits and refunds
Card payments for bookings, deposits and gift cards are processed by Stripe. Each professional connects their own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, and the payment goes to that professional, who is the seller. SO Beauty may keep a platform fee, which is included in the amount shown before you pay. We never see or store full card numbers. Refunds and cancellation fees follow the professional’s policy saved with the booking: contact the professional first, and us if you cannot solve it together. Professionals also accept Stripe’s terms for connected accounts.
What SO Beauty charges
SO Beauty is free for clients. SO Beauty does not set the price of any service and does not take any share of services the client pays directly to the professional. When a client pays a professional on the free plan online through SO Beauty, SO Beauty keeps a commission of 3.5% of that payment, plus Stripe’s processing fees, from the professional’s payout; this is shown on the plan card. Professionals on SO Pro or SO Business pay their subscription and no SO Beauty commission; Stripe’s processing fees still apply to online payments. Any fee is shown before it applies.
Free and paid plans
Clients and professionals can use SO Beauty for free. Professionals can subscribe to SO Pro or SO Business for more tools. Plans are paid in advance and renew automatically every month or year until cancelled. On the web they are billed by Stripe and can be changed or cancelled in your billing settings; in the iPhone app they are bought with Apple In-App Purchase and managed in your Apple account under Apple’s rules, including refunds. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices and taxes are shown before you buy. This does not limit any withdrawal or refund right you have under the law of your country.
Gift cards, promo codes and rewards
Gift cards are sold by a professional and can only be used for that professional’s services, up to the remaining balance and before any expiry date shown on the card. Promo codes, loyalty points and referral rewards follow the conditions shown with them. None of them can be exchanged for cash unless the law requires it, and they may be cancelled if they were obtained through fraud or abuse.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, posts, comments, reviews and messages you share. You give SO Beauty a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, display, resize and automatically translate this content and to show it in SO Beauty, in share previews and in public search pages, for as long as it is published. Only share content you have the right to share, with the consent of the people who appear in it, and credit other professionals honestly. You can delete your content at any time.
Community rules and moderation
Do not post or send anything illegal, violent, hateful, sexual, harassing or misleading, anything that sexualises minors, spam or scams, and do not create fake accounts, copy other people’s work or collect data from the service automatically. You can report a profile, post, comment, review or message and block other users. We review reports and may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules or the law. If you disagree with a decision, contact us and we will look at it again.
Reporting illegal content
Anyone can report content they consider illegal or contrary to these terms with the report button or by writing to [email protected], which is also our point of contact for users and authorities. Explain where the content is and why it is a problem. We review reports diligently and objectively, tell you what we decided, and give the reasons when we remove content or restrict an account. You can ask us to review a decision, and in the European Union you can also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or to the courts.
Reviews and messages
Reviews must describe a real experience with the professional. Do not offer or accept anything in exchange for a review, and do not review yourself or a competitor. Professionals may reply publicly. We may hide reviews that break these rules, but we do not change what they say. Messages are for talking about services and bookings: be respectful, and never share card details or passwords in a chat.
Advertising, translations and AI
Users on the free plan may see advertising, and sponsored placements are always labelled. Captions and other texts can be translated automatically, and some tools make suggestions with artificial intelligence. Automatic results can be wrong, so check them before relying on them. Our privacy policy explains how advertising uses data.
Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings or by contacting us. We then remove or anonymise your profile, content and personal data as described on our support page, cancel SO Pro or SO Business subscriptions billed by Stripe and close your sign-in. Subscriptions bought through Apple must be cancelled in your Apple account. Some records, such as bookings and payments, are kept for as long as the law or the other party to them requires. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Responsibility and liability
We work to keep SO Beauty available and safe, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise that it will always work without interruptions or errors. Professionals are responsible for the services they provide, including results, health and safety; SO Beauty does not perform treatments and does not guarantee any professional. As far as the law allows, SO Beauty is not liable for indirect losses or lost profits, and its total liability to you is limited to the amounts you paid SO Beauty in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. We will tell you about important changes in the app or by email before they apply. If you do not agree, you can stop using SO Beauty and delete your account; if you keep using it, the new terms apply.
Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swiss law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence. The courts at the registered seat of the operator in La Tour-de-Peilz (canton of Vaud, Switzerland) have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives you the right to go to court elsewhere. Please contact us first: most problems can be solved quickly and at no cost.
