How we rank content

The home feed has four tabs. For you shows the newest posts and moves up posts in the beauty categories you chose in your beauty profile. Following shows only the accounts you follow, newest first. Nearby shows the posts closest to you, then the newest. Trending shows the posts of the last 30 days with the most likes, comments and saves. In Discover, results are ordered by how well they match your search, by whether the professional has published work and active services, and by how complete the profile is; the categories and budget you chose add points, and you can sort by distance instead. Highlighted professionals (SO Business) come first in the default order and are labelled as sponsored. We do not use your browsing history for ranking. Following, Nearby and Trending do not depend on your profile, and you can change your beauty profile in the settings at any time.

Content of users and professionals

Profiles, posts, services, prices and reviews are published by the professionals and users themselves, who are responsible for them. SO Beauty does not check them before they are published. If you see illegal content, report it with the report button or write to [email protected]; we handle valid reports without delay.

Brand and copyright

The SO Beauty name and logo and the design of the website and apps are protected. Photos, videos and texts published by users belong to them. Any reproduction needs the permission of the rights holder.

Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first: we try to solve every complaint directly and at no cost. Your right to turn to the consumer protection authorities or to the competent courts of your country remains unaffected.
